What is perfect vision?
The ability to capture that moment in time that no one else can capture.
What is hindsight?
Wishing that you had stopped to capture that perfect moment in time.
“This world has become a cluttered place. What was rare has become every day. Technology has been a double-edged sword for classical fine-art photographers. Cell phones have enabled anyone to capture that “moment-in-time” I’d hazard a guess to say that in the last 10 years – more photographs have been shot since Nicéphore Niépce took the first image back in 1826. Technology has made it easier, simpler to take photos, but quantity (thankfully) will never trump quality.
Technology has forced us fine-art photographers to rethink our way of shooting, of how we maintain the level of excellence we have always strived for when we press that shutter button.
For me, I hope that I can continue to grow my body of work for your viewing pleasure”.
